So just so you know the skis are k2 skis that are used as trick skis.

Infinite Print thoughts...

While thinking about this project, the infinite print, I thought about how photography has evolved.  Even though today we have the ability to print images off of any computer and send them throughout the world printing an images has essentially always been infinite.  As long as you have a negative, weather it's digital or analog, you can print that image however many times you want.  You could say that every time you print off a negative in the dark room it will print a little differently depending on the chemicals, light, time, etc. but it's the same thing with computers, every printer will print out your image a little differently.  So for this project I want to bring back the analog negative into the process by using it digitally.

 Manipulation can change the meaning or interpretation of another image.  It can be used as propaganda and advertising as it has been in many other cases.

artist statement:  Manipulation to me has many different interpretations.  One is to change an image to create an new meaning from that image, another is to use multiple images to create a new image.  In this project I used the latter of the interpretations.  I used my interest in capturing nature and my interests in the way people move to experiment with the way people move through the space they are in or through nature.  People can move almost through any type of space in so many different ways.

Other then nature I am interested in movement and people in their environments or other cultures. Maybe even people moving in nature/their surroundings

I am interested in nature and how it can capture your attention and make your surroundings seem unreal.  I want to show the power nature has and the things it can do.  I am interested in showing how even though it is clearly part of this world it can seem unreal or supernatural.
